Set and achieve your product vision with behavior change design

Amy Bucher, Keynote

Behavior change design is one of the newer sub-fields of user experience—and anyone in UX can adopt its techniques and tool to their role.

Behavior change designers conduct research, design solutions, and measure outcomes through the use of frameworks and tools from psychological science. Ultimately, behavior change designers identify key behavioral objectives for a product and then set a vision for achieving them grounded in a scientific evidence base. Learn what a behavior change designer does, how frameworks like COM-B and self-determination theory help create more engaging and effective products, and why behavior change design reduces the risk and uncertainty of marching toward an ambitious product vision.
