Janey Barnes, PhD is a Human Factors and usability specialist and is principal of User-View, Inc. User-View is a human factors and design consultancy in Raleigh, NC. Janey leads client programs that encompass every aspect of human factors. From design research, testing and evaluation, user interface design to hardware and workspace design. Throughout her career, Janey has worked with clients in the healthcare, medical device, automotive, consumer product, and financial industries. Janey is responsible for obtaining and managing projects and conducting state of the art user-centered design and evaluation for client programs. Project work includes user-based research from requirements gathering to validation usability testing.
