Clare is a UX research professional with over a decade working directly with technology that addresses social problems, including work in technology nonprofits, academia, and the social tech sector. As a nonprofit founder, public speaker, and author, Clare speaks to the intersection of UX and social action. She will draw from her lived experiences leveraging technology (and building tech products) to address poverty, hunger, homelessness, and health disparities, and will speak on both the successes and failures in doing this kind of work. Clare has served as IC as well as a manager and senior leader in UX, and can apply the takeaways from the presentation to all levels of UX professionals.
