How to critique other people’s designs without pissing them off

UX designers aren’t allowed to run out of the room crying when you review their wireframes, but sometimes they look like they want to. Harsh and arbitrary critiques annihilate the essential communication that needs to take place within a team. Feedback should empower designers and set them up for success. They need to understand why you want changes and how those changes will improve the final product and experience. In this lightning talk, Ingrid and Jess will share basic principles to use when critiquing a design and give concrete examples of how to apply them to your work.
